In 2014 I graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta with a “Bachelor of Science in Nursing”.
I began my nursing career working in gynecology/oncology and I found myself in awe of the strength and resilience of the women that I cared for during that time. One year later I decided to change to hospice palliative care nursing, where I found my passion for caring for people at the end of their life. I loved being able to help my clients feel better, whether that was through excellent symptom management, sitting and listening to their stories at their bedside, or helping them and their families navigate the difficult yet rewarding journey towards death. I have always loved meeting new clients and creating lasting bonds with them.
This year, I have decided to make a shift in my career towards aesthetic nursing, and I couldn’t be more excited. I have seen how a person’s confidence and sense of wellbeing is deeply impacted by their physical appearance countless times throughout my nursing career, as well as personally, and I am honored to be able to help someone in that aspect of their life. I value natural beauty, and I want to help my clients of all ages find that sense of beauty.
I am thrilled that my new role at Fresh Laser Skin Studio will allow me to return to women’s health. I know that women face many unique challenges throughout their life, from sexual and reproductive health and wellness in their younger years, to the challenges and changes that come with menopause.
I am proud to be offering consultations to help assess your vaginal health concerns and if our new Vitalia rejuvenation treatment program would be beneficial to improve your vaginal health and wellness.
