Fresh Laser Skin Studio’s Covid 19 Policies
As we struggle to find our sense of normal, there have been some changes in our policies. Our goal, as always, is to keep everyone as safe as possible, while still providing great services to our clients. The following policies have been approved by our medical director and are currently being followed. Some changes in the isolation requirements have changed and it is advisable to check out the following link, Alberta requirements, if you have any concerns.
Clinic Policies for Covid 19
All staff at Fresh Laser Skin Studio have had a minimum of two vaccinations.
All staff continue to wear masks in the clinic while working.
It is no longer mandatory for clients to wear a mask in our clinic, it is optional.
All services continue to be by appointment only, as we do not provide drop-in services.
Product pick-ups are best to be scheduled online. If dropping in, it is advisable to call ahead to ensure we have your products in stock and we are open, as business hours may change especially on Saturdays.
Physical distancing decals on the floor have been removed. However, we are still taking clients into a treatment room asap to fill out digital forms etc.
Treatments rooms continue to be cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant between clients. BioText is used on all material surfaces and 70-99% is used on equipment and hard surfaces.
Disinfection protocols continue to include treatment room door handles and client personal use designated area and chairs in treatment rooms.
Hand sanitizers liquid and/or wipes are readily available for client use entering and leaving the clinic.
Retail and related skin care samples are only handled by staff members. All retail stock is secure to limit the handling of products.
Floors are cleaned a minimum of once daily with antibacterial solution. All high touch surfaces are disinfected after each client including the POS machine, washroom keys and front office chairs. Interact e-transfer payments are also available.
Technicians continue to wear gloves during treatments and discard after client treatment, as well as washing hands. Protocols still includes wearing a mask during client treatments.
Clinic Policies if known client/personal contact has tested positive for Covid 19
Staff who have had known recent contact with a person that tested positive for Covid 19, must have a negative rapid test for Covid 19 before returning to work.
If FLSS is informed that a client, we recently treated, has tested positive for Covid 19, all staff need to be informed of the incident. Covid 19 rapid testing should be done if any symptoms arise.
If a staff member calls in sick with symptoms, they will need to have a negative rapid Covid 19 test before returning to work.
PLEASE NOTE: Our cancellation policies are now back in affect. If less than 24 hours notice is given to cancel or reschedule an appointment, a minimum of $50 will be charged.
