What are Cosmetic Injections?
Cosmetic injections are carefully administered by a registered nurse or Doctor using sterile needles. Injectables include medical products such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, P R P and Belkyra to enhance facial aesthetics.
Fresh Laser Skin Studio provides a comprehensive approach to facial aesthetics, with emphasis on the importance of maintaining skin health to achieve optimal results with cosmetic injectables.
It is important to note that cosmetic injectables do not address skin laxity, skin tone(reds & browns) or skin texture and are recommended as an adjunct to your skin rejuvenation regime to temporarily enhance or correct facial features.
Cosmetic injectables, such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers, are used to temporarily enhance or correct facial features and offer a great addition to our laser and radio frequency skin rejuvenating treatments.

A neuromodulator is a tiny protein that can be injected into a muscle to interrupt the nerve signals before they reach the muscle, allowing the treated muscles to relax and temporarily prevent muscle contraction. This muscle relaxation results in the smoothing of your lines and wrinkles and may also help to prevent those same lines and wrinkles from deepening.
In our youth, our skin produces an abundance of collagen and elastin that helps your face snap back into place after making facial expressions. However, these vital proteins start to deplete as early as our twenties, resulting in the formation of fine lines and eventually wrinkles.
All brands of neuromodulators contain a purified form of the B o t u l i n u m toxin type A, but they have slightly different formulations.
