What To Expect

The Ultimate Derma Peel is an aggressive level II or III peel dependent on your skin type and the number of passes applied during the treatment.

Before treatment your skin will be cleansed and prepped before the first pass of the peel is applied to the treatment area. Once the peel is applied you will feel a tingling sensation on the skin that will gradually subside. The tingling sensation is referred to as the activity level and varies for each individual. In general, the activity level ranges from 1(minimal) to 6(a bit spicy) and gradually subsides within 2-5 minutes.
Additional passes of the peel may be applied to the treatment area depending on the area and condition of the skin.

After treatment the area will feel hot for up to 24 hours and may be slightly red. Redness may increase by the 2nd day.
During the first 6 hours, do not wash, touch, rub or apply makeup to the treated area.
After the first six hours you may cleanse the skin with the provided gentle cleanser, followed by applying the sunscreen every am, and reapplied as needed.
The treated area will feel tight and can appear slightly darker.
Peeling although not guaranteed can last up to 10-12 days on the face and neck.
A followup appointment will be scheduled in approximately 10 days.
